Directions to Ainsworth House & Gardens
Ainsworth House & Gardens is located in Historic Oregon City
~ and just 25 minutes from Portland International Airport.
From I 205, from North or South:
Take I 205 to exit 10 and go SOUTH on 213 for 3+ miles.
Pass the Clackamas Community College (on your left) and then turn RIGHT at the traffic lights for Meyers Road (by the Trail Ends Market & Haggen Supermarket), and then go to the second STOP sign, about 1 mile.
At the second STOP sign, continue forward onto Leland Road. After about 100 yards, take the first LEFT into Lot Whitcomb Drive and the Ainsworth Estates. (Do not be fooled by the houses!)
The House is one and a half blocks in on your left. For tours you may either park on the gravel driveway or continue on the road infront of the House and it will take you to the Parking Lot, on your left, at the rear of the property, next to the Garden Room and Conservatory, where receptions are held.
From Milwaukie and Route 99E, downtown Oregon City
From 99E turn LEFT at the lights for 10th. Street. (If coming from Canby this will be a RIGHT turn.)
Follow 10th Street up the hill, and it will deliver you onto 7th Street. Turn RIGHT at the first lights (Washington Street) and go 2 blocks to 5th. Street, and turn LEFT on 5th.
5th Street becomes Linn Ave, and Linn Ave becomes Leland Avenue when it crosses the lights at the Warner Milne/Warner Parrot junction. (Plaid Pantry & two other stores on the corner.)
Take the third RIGHT from Leland into Lot Whitcomb Drive and the Ainsworth Estates. The House is one and a half blocks in on your left. Follow the road, which passes in front of the House, to enter the parking lot which is next to the reception facility.
